BitClub is organizing a free Bitcoin seminar in Durban to educate the public about the immense benefits that Bitcoin offers to the global community.
Scheduled for Jan. 14 at the Belaire Suites Hotel in Durban, South Africa, the seminar is geared towards creating a better understanding of Bitcoin by the public.
The seminar is the first in a series of Bitcoin seminars the club has lined up for the various provinces in South Africa. BitClub is a network of professionals who have come together to support Bitcoin and other digital currencies.
“We want to reach every South African with Bitcoin, for them to partake in the numerous benefits at stake,” Mziyanda Bidi, builder and shareholder of BitClub, told Cointelegraph in an interview. The group believes people can accept Bitcoin rapidly only when Bitcoin education is scaled up by the Satoshi community:
“Many people are ignorant of Bitcoin and the painful truth is that most of these people think it is for scams and other fraudulent activities. We want to do a better job of explaining what Bitcoin really is to the masses.”
The organizers have lined up experienced Bitcoin enthusiasts who will dispel all the cobwebs in the minds of participants. These experts include Hanna Tekle Pindza Hanna and BitClub Builder Lonwabo Fololo.
Reaching every South African
BitClub has been organizing weekly Bitcoin meetups in their Johannesburg office, but the latest move is to expand their educational outreach to every part of the country. The Durban seminar will be followed by one in Cape Town and Port Elizabeth in February. The date for the other provinces will also be announced soon.
According to Mziyanda, the club wants to reach every South African with Bitcoin by the end of 2017. “Before the end of this year, almost everyone in South Africa will know about Bitcoins. It has a brilliant future in South Africa, and we won’t rest here.”
BitClub is, therefore, urging all South Africans to take advantage of the free Bitcoin seminars coming to their provinces soon, to enrich their lives. This is the message Mziyanda has for South Africans:
“To understand the revolutionary nature of Bitcoin, it’s necessary to look at what it is, how it can be used and how you can literally liberate your life by being part of the Bitcoin economy. But liberty without the right value system, self-discipline and a plan will only lead to abject poverty.”
